Duo Mar Barroco formed by Rafael Bonavita and Leopoldo Novoa explores the connections between ancient European music and modern Latinoamerican popular music. Musical instruments have always traveled with people. They generate mutual influences and cross cultures. In the case of "Migrant Instruments", the result is the magical combination of Caribbean Marimbol and Mexican Son guitar along with the Theorbo and Baroque guitar. Interacting in instrumental pieces as well as accompanying the voice in traditional songs.
